Perform these steps to set the access rights so that the backup/restore works properly with Windows Vista:

Click on these items  in sequence:

1. Click on Windows Vista Start button, in the bottom left corner.

2. Click on Computer

3. Double-Click on Local Disk (C:)

4. Click on Program Files

5. RIGHT-Click on MMS and select PROPERTIES to bring up the Properties Window

    In that windows click on the Security Tab.

6. Click on Users

7. Click on Edit, that brings up the Permissions screen

8. Click on Users in that window

9. Click on Full Control

10. Click on OK
